Invitation to the ESA Economics Year End Celebration

Dear Fellow Economics Students,

We have asked your opinion about graduation event earlier and we have been working hard to make it happen. After the long wait, we have finalized all the details and the tickets are here waiting for you to purchase.

The Year End Celebration is an annual celebration for all great things at UBC Economics especially the graduation. We will be inviting UBC Economics professors whom you are familiar with. This event is NOT exclusive to graduation students, we encourage you to come out if you want to celebrate!

This year's graduation dinner will start in Law Courts Inn with a great buffet dinner (see below for our carefully selected menu) and end with an after party and dance at the Waldorf Hotel. We are confident that this is a night that you will never forget. With all these, it will only cost you $45 if you are quick enough!

The event detail:
Date and Time: 7:00pm to 11:00pm, Saturday, March 31st.
Location: Law Courts Inn (Dinner) and Waldorf Hotel (After Party)

Ticket Sale will start on *Wednesday, Mar. 14th*
Early Bird Ticket Price: $45 (until March. 16th)
Full Ticket Price: $55
Group Discount: $3 off from each ticket with group purchase of 10 or more
*Where to buy ticket: Economics Department Lounge. 9th floor, Buchanan Tower
*When to buy tickets: everyday from 10am to 3pm

ESA STUDY SESSIONS!

ESA is offering weekly Study Sessions again! This is a chance to meet and study with your classmates, while getting support from experienced Economic students.

Time: Monday 5-6pm
Location: Buch B309

Who will help? Senior students in Economics and Honors Economics will try to answer all your questions. You can also form study groups with your fellow classmates to discuss problems and help each other.

What help is offered? Our Academic General Officers have experience in ECON 102, 326, 301, 302, 306 and 307. We may also help with 100/200 level Math and Statistics.

Want more? For those of you who are simply interested in the broad realm of Economics, ESA also has a weekly Economic discussion "(Talk)ononmics", where students chat casually about certain topics in Economics. This week's theme is Monetary System and the Euro Crisis. (Talk)onomics happens each Thursday 5-6pm at BUCH B309. Everyone's welcome!
