Instructions for Electronic Application at UBC

1.The Department strongly encourages applicants to use the EconJobMarket website to submit their applications. Go to https://econjobmarket.org/Apply/ApplyNow.php to set up your free account on EconJobMarket.org (EJM).

2 The EconJobMarket website will allow you to give us access to your CV, job market paper, and any other materials. It will also ask you to specify who will be writing recommendation letters for you.

3. You will receive a username and PIN via email. Use this information to log-in to EconJobMarket.org.

4. From the main menu under Application, choose "New Application", select our ad and click on "Apply Now."

5. EJM will automatically contact all of your references via email and provide accounts for them to upload their letters. However, if your referees prefer to send their letters directly to us, they can be mailed to:

The completed application will be transferred to us and processed.
